Otani was founded by Dr.Kiatichai
Dr. Kiatichai started in the tire business by opening a small shop in Ubonratchathani (Thailand)
Expanded business by opening a retread tire facility in his shop.
Moved back to his hometown, Nakornpathom, and opened a retread tire factory under the name “PARATIRE”.
Dr. Kiatichai was the first in Thailand to employ the ‘Pre-cure Retread’ method.
Founded the Otani Tire Co. Ltd. to produce bias ply tires.
Otani Tire started to export tires. The first export country was Pakistan / Zafar Enterprise.
Otani started OEM supply with Kubota Corporation, moving its production base from Japan to Thailand.
Founded ‘Otani Radial’ to produce radial tires for truck and bus applications.
Otani Radial received approval from the Thai government to build a passenger car radial factory.
Completed equipment procurement with world leading machinery companies.
Otani Radial started production of passenger car radial tires.
